A group of Italian journalists and priests visiting Caravaca de la Cruz in a 'Fam Trip' or familiarization trip.
The goal is for participants to live the tourist destination in the first person and publicize the Jubilee Year 2017 and the main tourist resources are there in the municipality in their hometowns.
This promotional activity is sponsored by the Institute of Tourism of the Region of Murcia, in collaboration with the Department of Tourism of the City of Caravaca and the tour operator Even.
Fam-Trip is comprised of four priests of the city Brescia, Bergamo and another one from Modena, which add three journalists, two photographers and an Israeli tour operator, of Telabit.
During the day today visited the Museum Festival, the Museum of the Wine Horses and Real Basilica de la Vera Cruz, where they were received by the older sister of the Brotherhood of Vera Cruz, Elisa Giménez-Giron and the mayor of Tourism, Gloria Gomez.
Tomorrow will travel to the Museum of Ethnic Music Barrada.
This meeting completes the familiarization tour conducted late last year by representatives of major religious tourism operators in Italy, which ranks as one of the main consumers of religious tourism.
