The Caravaca City Council allocates subsidies to commerce and the hospitality industry (28/10/2020)

| To collaborate with the expenses derived from the pandemic and encourage purchases | The Department of Commerce and Hospitality has launched two differentiated lines of help with 50,000 euros of municipal budget; one to finance part of the adaptation of the premises to the security measures or materials and another, with direct discounts to the customers of the commercial premisesThe 'Bonolatidos' -which are part of the campaign to boost the local economy that will be launched in the coming days- consist of 3,000 discount vouchers of ten euros for purchases from 25 euros, distributed in all Caravacan retail stores that request itThe two grants have been published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia and the bases are also available for consultation in the electronic headquarters of the City Council, where they can be requestedThe mayor Ana Belén Martínez has reported that, if there is any doubt, interested parties can contact the Local Development department, through the address Desarrollolocal@caravacadelacruz.es or by calling 968701003 and 678760467The Caravaca de la Cruz City Council allocates two lines of aid to the hospitality and retail sectors to help alleviate the effects caused by the health and economic crisis caused by the expansion of the coronavirus.After the publication of the bases and the call in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia (BORM), the councilor who directs the areas of Commerce and Hospitality, Ana Belén Martínez, has reported the details of these subsidies that, according to her statements, "They are intended to help, not to solve, the critical situation that these sectors are going through and that require the involvement of all the competent public administrations and also of citizens with a decided commitment to the circular or proximity economy".Ana Belén Martínez advanced that these subsidies are "one of the actions included in the Plan to Promote Local Commerce and Hospitality, whose next action will be an original promotional campaign, which we have worked in recent months with a lot of heart and feeling and which will promote Caravaca de la Cruz as a safe shopping and service center ".The Consistory of Caravaqueño allocates 50,000 euros from the municipal budget for this year to the first call for these two different lines of aid.

One of them is intended to subsidize part of the expenses that have occurred as a result of the adaptation of the premises to the safety and prevention regulations of COVID-19 and the other is the direct concession to the trade of 3,000 discount vouchers for the activation of purchases.Ana Belén Martínez reported that, for any questions or clarification, those interested can contact the municipal department of Local Development, through the email address Desarrollolocal@caravacadelacruz.es or by calling 968701003 and 678760467.'Bonolatidos', granting direct aid to promote purchases with direct discountsIt involves the granting of financial aid in the form of bonds applicable to its clients.

"Through this innovative action - whose name 'Bonolatido' will be fully understood when the campaign to promote local commerce and hospitality is unveiled - a total of 3,000 discount checks will be put into circulation in Caravaca stores to consume from November 14 to December 6 (excluding the days of the so-called 'Black Friday, in which there will be promotions and discounts of the establishments) ".Said vouchers, for an amount of 10 euros of direct discount on purchases equal to or greater than 25 euros, will be distributed free of charge and equally among all the Caravaqueños businesses that request them and comply with the requirements established in the bases.Retail businesses in the municipality of Caravaca may be beneficiaries.

The request for them is made by means of a general instance presented at the electronic headquarters of the City Council or, if this is not possible, also in person at the General Register of the City Council until November 5, inclusive.Subsidies for the commercial and hospitality sector to meet the expenses caused by COVID-19Self-employed workers, micro-companies or small companies belonging to the commercial and hospitality sector in the territorial area of ??the municipality of Caravaca de la Cruz may be beneficiaries of the subsidies.

The request for them is also formalized with a general instance and the required documentation presented at the electronic headquarters of the City Council or, if this is not possible, also in person at the General Register of the City Council until November 10, inclusive.The amount of the aid will amount to 75% of the total investment made to adapt the establishments to the new safety and hygiene measures against COVID-19 in order to prevent the spread of the virus in workplaces, setting as cap the amount of 300 euros per request.Eligible expenses are the materials used for the protection of public health required by current regulations, such as screens, personal protective equipment (PPE), beacons, posters, signage, disinfection products or bins with lid and pedal.The granting of the subsidy will be carried out under equal conditions by means of competitive competition until the credit available for this first call is exhausted.
