Subject to changes depending on the evolution of the pandemic, initially three progressive phases of adaptation have been established; the first one is carried out without physical contact activities, with a maximum number of 10 students, eliminating interaction between groups and without sharing disinfected material in each sessionAnother novelty of the grassroots sports program is that the sessions become two weekly with reduced capacity, covering all modalities from the Pre-youngest to Cadet categories, and with bimonthly enrollmentRegistrations will be made online, starting on October 2, and in person, at the offices of the Corbalán pavilion, starting on Monday, October 5, according to the staggered calendar established to avoid crowds"It is important that we try to reconcile in a professionalized way the situation we live with that our young people continue with healthy life habits and do not lose their sports careers, in safety conditions that do not have leisure or unregulated outings", he has highlighted the Councilor for SportsThe Caravaca de la Cruz City Council, through its Department of Sports, has planned the campaign to promote grassroots sports 'Municipal Sports Schools', adapted to the order issued by the Autonomous Community regulating sports practice in the Region of Murcia, under a regulation for the prevention of the COVID-19 pandemic."It is important that we try to reconcile in a professionalized way the situation we live with that our young people continue with healthy life habits and do not lose their sports careers, in safety conditions that do not have leisure or unregulated outings", has highlighted the Councilor for Sports, Pepe Fernández Tudela.Fernández Tudela has also valued that "so many months of hiatus can lead many children and young people to lose a very important hobby for their personal development and also to ruin the work and effort of Caravacan sports talents with a high projection at the regional and national level in different areas such as Athletics modalities ".This year the offer of the 'Municipal Sports Schools' is accompanied by news, prioritizing prevention measures.

Some of them are that the trainings will be carried out without physical contact activities, with a maximum number of 10 students, without interaction between groups and without sharing material.

Depending on the evolution of the pandemic, and following the order of the Ministry of Tourism, Youth and Sports, the situation will remain in this way and divided into three progressive phases of adaptation.Other notable changes with respect to previous courses is that the sessions are now two weekly in all modalities and group activities for the little ones remain, for the moment, frozen, until a favorable advance of the pandemic, this implies those born in 2016 and 2017.

Therefore, the offer ranges from the categories of Pre-youngest to Cadet and is reduced by 25% of the places that were usually offered each course and will be an approximate number of one thousand. All activities have their protocol for development and access to municipal facilities, with independent entrances and exits and exchange periods to avoid group overlaps. In addition, the COVID-19 regulation requires the mandatory use of a mask in cases in indoor facilities, where social distancing is not maintained; the application of hydroalcoholic gel, disinfection of all materials at the end of each session and do not attend if you notice any of the symptoms associated with the coronavirus (such as a dry cough or fever). The Department of Sports reserves the right to suppress, replace or modify schedules and facilities, depending on the evolution of the situation and the minimum number of interested people.

Students may change sports modality, free of charge, one month after having formalized their registration. This year enrollment will begin bimonthly (10/13 to 12/18) and its modification or expansion will be studied, depending on how it works and the pace of the pandemic. The start of the 'Municipal Sports Schools' is scheduled for Tuesday October 13 or until the minimum number of places is reached.
