Pepe Moreno asks that the number of trackers be increased (02/09/2020)

| And that primary health care be strengthened to fight the spread of COVID-19 in Caravaca de la Cruz and districts | Another week we have to regret the increase in COVID-19 cases in Caravaca and the populations of its municipal term, as is the case of Archivel.

Go from here our support and encouragement to the affected and confined people, as well as their families, wishing them a speedy and definitive recovery. As of today, and we hope they do not increase, there are 59 cases of COVID-19 in our municipality, 39 of them in this last week, which represents an increase of approximately 70%.

This figure is very worrying. The population of Archivel has been asked from the government team of the City Council to confine themselves to the escalation of cases, a measure that we understand. But we think that instead of going from nothing to everything overnight, the public should have been spoken to more clearly. We have missed having called, constantly and insistently, for caution and control of personal contacts instead of covering everything with an apparent normality.

We also regret that, to this day, the group with the highest representation of the City Council, which is the PSOE, has not been summoned since March to the COVID-19 Monitoring Commission, as D.

José Francisco García said.

Faced with this escalation in Caravaca and other municipalities, we ask the Regional Government of López Miras to take action on the matter quickly at once, increasing the number of trackers and strengthening primary health care, measures that are vital against outbreaks. We also ask that the number of PCR tests be increased and that the results of these be given in the day, not in more than a week like now, to prevent and avoid the chain of infections.

There are 98 million euros that from the Government of the Nation have reached the Autonomous Community of Murcia in an extraordinary way to prevent, alleviate, help and reinforce the COVID-19 crisis in its social and health aspect. To date, only 30 million have been used for these purposes. What happened to the remaining 68 million? We hope to see them soon invested in health and that they do not get lost in plugging the innumerable economic and financial "holes" that the Regional Government of PP-C's has.

Investing in healthcare could increase the number of PCRs and reduce the time it takes to give the results of these tests. The Autonomous Community of Murcia carries out 93 tests of this type per 1,000 inhabitants compared to the average for Spain, which is 136 tests per 1,000 inhabitants.Only Andalusia (also governed by the PP-Cs-VOX tandem) has a lower rate than Murcia. At the other extreme is Asturias, a single-province autonomous community like ours, but with a smaller population, where 213 tests are carried out per 1,000 inhabitants. But in addition, in this community, by the way governed by the PSOE, the health staff has increased this summer by 15% while in Murcia not only has it not been reinforced, but the staff took their vacations, by the way very deserved, without the administration increasing the health personnel in the face of the escalation of COVID cases, as if nothing happened here.

Well, nothing, this mud comes to us from those muds.
