The jump in the published information positions this administration as one of the most transparent municipalities in the Region of Murcia, according to the evaluating entity of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ??InfoParticipa. The mayor, José Francisco García, has reported that "Open Government and Transparency is one of the priority objectives of the Government Team of the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz, which is aware of the importance of going beyond simple compliance with the legal requirements in terms of transparency, to bet on an open, close model that meets the demands of the neighbors in this matter.

""The previous tools were outdated in some of their applications, access was not easy and they were limited in terms of the quality and quantity of the information that could be published, and they also presented problems in terms of responsiveness," as The mayor has indicated, accompanied by the councilor for Transparency and Open Government, Laura Sánchez Domenech. From the Department of Transparency, in collaboration with the rest of the municipal areas, all the public information held by the City Council has been made available to the public through a new municipal portal: https://transparencia.caravacadelacruz.es /, which in addition to increasing the amount of information published, shows in a clear, friendly and understandable way for the citizen all the information available, organizing it into seven main areas. The new website, carried out with a budget of 14,800 euros, contains a complete menu with information on the elected officials, the government bodies, plenary sessions, government boards, regulations, documents that must be submitted to public information, current agreements, contracts, list of jobs, public employment offer or municipal assets, among other aspects.Likewise, any person can, through the transparency portal, request access to public information, in compliance with their right of access contained in Law 19/2013, of December 9, on Transparency, Access to Public Information and Good Government."The local administration must do everything possible to modernize its tools to listen to and serve the residents and be accountable for everything it does, so we have launched a new transparency portal, fully accessible to all," explained the councilor.

of Transparency and Open Government, who has advanced that will be accompanied by information campaigns to reduce the digital divide and that, both this portal and the tools of electronic administration, progressively become an element of daily use of a "nearest Town Hall and modern.

"'Green Line', the application of leading incidents implemented in 400 Spanish municipalitiesOn the other hand, together with the transparency portal, the new tool has been presented to communicate all kinds of incidents online, both from the mobile phone and from the computer itself.

"The previous application had deficiencies and errors that we had to correct to give a better response and service to the caravaqueños and, for the same cost, we have joined the 'Green Line', for the commitment of 400 municipalities at the national level", has reported the councilor responsible for the area.It is a direct communication channel through which residents can inform the Consistory of any defects detected in their locality.

Thanks to this citizen participation tool, the City Council intends to find out the needs of the municipality and thus be able to solve those deficiencies."This application has more utilities, services and options that the previous one did not have and there was no possibility that it had due to its technical characteristics, so we saw that the best option was to bet on the one that works in other municipalities with the same economic cost for the City Council ", Laura Sánchez has indicated. Thus, for example, the APP allows the municipal technician in charge to take a photograph of the repaired incident.

Another possibility of the application of incidents is that it has a positioning map of the city with many of its resources, a map of incidents reported to avoid duplication and allows to see in real time how a problem to which another neighbor could communicate is being solved.

.This new application also allows to give notice of the removal of furniture or fixtures.

It also contains all the ordinances related to the environment, waste or animal protection, as well as the schedules of buses, municipal facilities, on-call pharmacies, etc.

"In addition, we have signed an agreement with Ecoembes, with the collaboration of Entorno Urbano, to incorporate a tool through which any citizen can see the management of waste," added the councilor.

"Without a doubt, we are going to improve the quality of this service, with the same maintenance cost of the experimental tool that we had," he stressed. The mayor, José Francisco García, recalled that, in addition to these online information and communication tools, the City Council created the 'Citizen Service Office' on the ground floor of the City Council and the most visible site of the building, which has seen an increase in 80 percent its attentions to the public with respect to its previous location.

"Within the Open Government area, we have also launched the 'The skin of each neighborhood' project, which we have already carried out in the Extremadura neighborhood and, as soon as the sanitary circumstances allow, we will continue in other areas and districts," he recalled.

.Citizens can access the web directly through www.transaprencia.caravacadelacruz.es or through the general municipal portal, which is also going to be renewed, just as they can download the APP or access the incident tools online at www.
