Among the issues discussed is the request made by the Caravaqueño Town Hall for the museums of Vera Cruz and the Caballos del Vino to become part of the Regional Network of Museums, which already includes the Ethnic Music-Collection White Fadol de Barranda.

"We consider that these two museum spaces are deserving and have the necessary qualities to enter this regional circuit, which would allow us to receive economic funds to improve their financing and achieve greater projection," said the mayor. The Vera Cruz Museum houses one of the most important and symbolic collections of sacred art in the Region and is located in one of the main pilgrimage destinations in Spain, such as the town's Castle, where the patron saint of the city. For its part, the Casa-Museo de los Caballos del Vino is located in an emblematic building from the 18th century, which shows the history and evolution of this unique celebration in the world, which is a Spanish candidate for Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Humanity by Unesco, being one of the most representative cultural and festive events in the Region of Murcia. In another order of affairs, the counselor has checked the state of preservation of the image of 'La Dolorosa', from the Salzillo school, which the City Council has asked to undergo a restoration process for its artistic qualities, cultural values ??and for presenting a state that distorts its value and accelerates its deterioration. For her part, the older sister of the Brotherhood of Vera Cruz has also pointed out the convenience of intervening in the angels that are located on both sides of the main altar of the Basilica and of the image of Santa María del Castillo, which is found in one of the side altarpieces. Regarding education, school planning for the next academic year has been reviewed and improvement works have been requested in the toilets of the 'La Santa Cruz' and 'Cervantes' schools, among other aspects. The City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz will be part of the Plan Crea of ??the Region of Murcia, with 'Las Noches al raso', which will bring outdoor children's, musical and theatrical shows.

This project, in addition to enriching the summer programming adapted to safety and prevention regulations, also aims to support the cultural industry of our land, hiring companies and artists from the Region of Murcia within a complete catalog.
