The Caravaca City Council activates a service for SMEs, the self-employed and workers (03/04/2020)

It begins telematically with the technicians of the Department of Employment and aims to centralize information about the measures and continuous regulatory changes of the different public administrations to bring them closer to the citizen

The City Council of Caravaca is one of the Murcian councils that want to sign the collaboration agreement with the Office of Defense for SMEs and Self-Employed, in whose draft the Ministry of Business, Industry and Spokesperson works

The mayor joins the Regional Government's demand that the Government of Spain exempt the self-employed directly affected by the measures of the alarm state of COVID-19 from April and March quotas, since if they do not enter they cannot pay

In order to bring the information closer and offer advice to SMEs, the self-employed and workers, the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz launches a service of attention from the technicians of the Department of Employment.

The mayor, José Francisco García, has pointed out that, "although these weeks direct attention to the public cannot be carried out for reasons that we all already know, this telematic service, which will later become face-to-face, is another measure that We articulate from the City Council to help, within our possibilities and competencies, families, workers, companies and in general the neighbors who are being directly affected by this very serious and exceptional situation. "

In addition, the mayor has advanced that the City of Caravaca de la Cruz will be one of the Murcian councils that sign the collaboration agreement with the Office for the Defense of SMEs and the Self-Employed.

The objective of this agreement - in whose draft the Ministry of Enterprise, Industry and Spokesperson is already working - is to promote collaboration mechanisms between local and regional administrations regarding information exchange and streamlining of procedures.

José Francisco García has also highlighted that the City of Caravaca supports the claim of the Regional Government so that the Government of Spain exempts from the rates of March and April the 100,000 self-employed in the Region of Murcia, rates with which the The State will raise in two months about 60 million euros.
