The City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz, continuing with the protocols to try to stop the spread of COVID-19 and always having as a priority the general interest and public health, has adopted new preventive measures:
-Closure of customer service in person at the City Hall from Monday March 16 and until further notice.
This measure joins those adopted yesterday to close the rest of the municipal buildings.

-Restriction of access to public parks and gardens, with the closure of the Pedro García-Esteller park and the express prohibition of visitors from other towns and autonomous communities not to go to the Las Fuentes del Marqués area, thus avoiding the concentration of a large number of people in the mentioned place.
-Within the parks and gardens, the cordoning off of the children's play areas has been decided.
TANATORIO DE CARAVACA DE LA CRUZ
-The company that manages the funeral home, following instructions from the Ministry of Health, has adopted the following measures:
-Rooms 2 and 3: capacity limitation to 15 people.
-Room 1: limitation of capacity to 20 people in the room.
-Community area: limitation of capacity to 30 people.
-Maintain a minimum distance of one meter between people.
-Abstention from kissing and shaking hands.
-Possibility of closing the mortuary at night.
-Assistance to the funeral of the deceased in the chapel is restricted to the most direct relatives.
RECOMMENDATIONS
On the other hand, appealing to responsibility, common sense and awareness, these recommendations are made:
-Maintain a very limited social activity.
-Reduce concentration to the maximum in nightlife venues, bars, restaurants and cafes and in outdoor terraces.
-Calling neighbors to avoid physical contact and meetings with families, friends and colleagues,
-Request to university students and those persons who for reasons of study or work reside outside Caravaca de la Cruz who remain in their usual places of residence, maintaining in them the precautions prescribed by the health authorities.
In case of returning to their homes, it is essential to keep the quarantine for 15 days.
-Avoid trips and displacements except for truly urgent reasons.
-Older people should stay in their houses.
-In the event of any symptoms, follow the recommendations of the health authorities, by calling 900 12 12 12.
