The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has rescued four members of a family from their home in Caravaca de la Cruz, after a fire broke out in the building.
The events took place in a central street of Caravaca de la Cruz on the afternoon of last Monday, February 24, when members of the Prevention of Citizen Security of La Benemérita detected that a lot of smoke came from the balcony of a house on a fourth floor .
Given these facts and in the event that there could be people inside the house affected by the fire, the civil guards agreed inside the building.
Once inside the house, the Civil Guard found that it was full of smoke, so, with certain security measures, they began the search for people who could be in the property.
The civil guards found a man and his three children, all minors, confined in a room, who were rescued from the fire and taken to a safe place in the building, finally all without apparent injuries.
After the rescue, the Benemérita troops opened all the windows of the house and, using a fan that was in it, aired the area and stifled the fire.
Thanks to the rapid intervention of the civil guards, who put at risk of their own physical integrity, the four people were rescued from the house without any injury.
