The Local Police of Caravaca de la Cruz has identified an individual who allegedly proceeded to the occupation of a home on SantoS Olmos street.
According to the police proceedings carried out by the Headquarters, this person had forced the lock and was accessing the interior.
The municipal services of the Consistory have already proceeded to cover the property to prevent entry to it while it remains uninhabited.
This action is part of the Preventive Plan for Housing Occupancy directed from the departments of Citizen Security and Urban Planning, together with the headquarters of the Local Police, which includes surveillance work in areas where this problem was repeated.
"The neighbors warned of this problem that had intensified with the passage of time and it has been a priority of the municipal government to adopt all the measures available to us in the area of ​​surveillance. In addition, the necessary cooperation of the competent administrations and of the private property owners, "said Councilman José Santiago Villa.
At the last local Government Board, the mayor, José Francisco García, informed that this matter was addressed in September last year and the Autonomous Community and the Government Delegation were requested to act as quickly as possible in accordance with the established procedures both administrative and judicial.
The Directorate General of Housing formalized the complaint in cases affecting social housing and launched the administrative procedure to end these occupations.
On the other hand, in the cases of privately owned homes belonging to banking entities, they were urged to file a complaint as their owners so that they could move forward in the process.
