The Caravaca de la Cruz Carnival, which will be held on Saturday, February 22, will feature several novelties in the parade, a pre-parade children's party and another party with live performances and awards ceremony in the Plaza del Arco.
The councilors of Festejos, Juan Manuel de León, and Youth, Laura Sánchez, have presented the program and the poster of the Carnival, accompanied by its author, José María San Nicolás, student of the ASCRUZ Special Education College.
San Nicolás has been the winner of the poster poster contest of the Carnival of Caravaca de la Cruz 2020 that has been carried out for the first time with the participation of the students of 4th, 5th and 6th Primary of the educational centers Township.
The Carnival will begin with a children's party in the Plaza de Paco Pim from 4 pm to 6 pm with workshops and games.
At 18.30 the parade will begin, which this year will feature the participation of AMPAS groups from some educational centers;
municipal dance schools;
several guest parades of the Cehegín Carnival;
a comparsa of the Adaptaocio Association and the first three prizes of the floats of the patron celebrations of Barranda.
"The parade will be organized by blocks so that it wins in sight, order and safety, alternating floats, troupes, dance schools, school groups and individual costumes, which will go to the end," explained the Councilor for Youth, who recalled That until Friday, February 14, the registration period at the Youth Center is open for those groups who want to participate as parades in the parade.
At the end of the parade, the Plaza del Arco will host a party with live musical performances and awards to different categories.
