The City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz, through its Department of Tourism, seeks to improve the tourist quality of services related to the sector.
For this, the general director of Competitiveness and Tourism Quality of the regional government, Ester Tenza, moved to Caravaca de la Cruz and visited the Municipal Tourist Office and some of the spaces integrated in the Museum Network.
Previously, the mayor, José Francisco García, and the councilor in charge of directing the area, José Carlos Gómez, held a meeting in which other aspects were also addressed, such as the creation of the service area for parking and motorhome overnight, such as booming tourist site.
Likewise, measures were studied to encourage and expand the implementation of SICTED, a quality improvement project in tourist destinations promoted by the Ministry of Tourism (SET), with the support of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) , which works with companies / services of up to 32 different trades, with the ultimate goal of improving the experience and satisfaction of the tourist.
