The event, organized by the Department of Sports of the City of Caravaca, with the collaboration of the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia, was the second day of the Regional Cross League
Caravaca de la Cruz was a meeting point and competition for more than 450 individual athletes and clubs who did not want to miss the return of the 'Cross Fuentes del Marqués', a cross-country competition that is a reference and is organized by the Department of Sports of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, in collaboration with the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia.
The victory had local flavor with the first place in the absolute feminine appointment of the caravaqueña Paloma Sala, of the Athletic Youth Elche (36:47).
For its part, within the senior men's category, the UCAM athlete Cartagena Lucas Postigo (30:39) won.
"The competition is the second day of the Regional Cross League and from the federation and the clubs are delighted to return to Caravaca to a circuit that brings together all the attractions and that is enjoyed in a totally respectful way with the natural environment in which develops, "said the Councilor for Sports, Pepe Tudela, after delivering trophies to participants in both the absolute and popular categories, ranging from SUB-8 (Pre-Benjamin) to Master (65).
