The Cross rejoices in the Marquis Fountains (26/01/2020)

The Holy City hosted this Sunday the 2nd day of the XXXIV Regional League of Cross FAMU, within the framework of the XI Cross "Fuentes del Marqués"

The cross country returned to look at the Holy City this Sunday, and to enjoy with that emblematic natural site that gave us a spectacular competition in all aspects.

So it was on the occasion of the XI Cross "Fuentes del Marqués", which also hosted the second day of the XXXIV Regional Cross League FAMU, under the organization of the Department of Sports of the Hon.

City Hall of Caravaca de la Cruz, with the collaboration of the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia.

On the male side, the athlete of the CA Torre Pacheco Imran El Mahi won in the Sub8 category (03:16), being the best Sub10 Iván Pérez, of the Nutribán Sociedad Atlético Alcantarilla (02:43).

Soufiane El Bannouri, of Caravaca de la Cruz, took the U12 victory (08:07), while the Alcaraz Group athlete Miguel Alcaraz was the best Sub14 (10:21), as well as Petros Sánchez, of the CA Murcia PDS Group, in Sub16 (12:30).

Mario Monreal, of AC Jumilla, took the U18 category (4:30 pm), beating in U20 the athlete of the Cave of Nerja - UMA Luis Gomez (10:14 pm), being the U23 victory went to Alejandro Ortuño, of the Castellón Beaches (31:46) and in the Senior category for the UCAM athlete Cartagena Lucas Postigo, who took that absolute date (30:39).

In the Master section, the best M35 would be Carlos Dionisio Casado, of the Christ Crucified CT (23:23), imposing himself in the M40 category Raúl Guevara, of Rajaos Runners Alcantarilla (22:47);

Juan Alonso, of the CA Puerto Torrevieja, in M45 (23:03);

Alfonso Hernández, of the Alcaraz Group, in M50 (23:45);

Manuel Sánchez, from CA Puertas Lorca, on M55 (25:10);

the independent Ramón Martínez in M60 (27:28), as well as the athlete of Eliocroca Manuel Padilla in M65 (29:14), with triumph in the popular section for José María López (22:57).

In females, the U8 victory went to Aina Palomares, of UCAM Athleo Cieza (03:34), with the Alcaraz Group athlete Laura Martínez being the U10 winner (03:01).

Blanca Martínez, from Eliocroca, won the Sub12 victory (08:27), while in Sub14 she did Fátima Hernández, from CA Nogalte - Hogar Puerto Lumbreras (11:14), being the best Sub16 the athlete from the CA Murcia PDS Group Leyre Martínez (14:29).

Another athlete from the Murcian club, Gemma Rebollo, took the U18 victory (19:16), doing the same in Sub20 María Martínez, also from the CA Murcia PDS Group (26:34), as well as the Mobel Automenor Running Team athlete Tania Salamanca in Sub23 (38:27), taking the Senior triumph and that first place in the absolute women's appointment Paloma Sánchez Sala, of the Athletic Youth Elche (36:47).

In the Master categories, the best F35 would be Ana María Almela, from Alcantarilla Fondistas (20:37), beating in F40 the athlete of the CA Puertas Lorca María Díaz (21:22);

Mª José Roca, of the CD Runtritón Cartagena, in F45 (21:38) and Toñi Lacárcel, of Rajaos Runners Alcantarilla, in F50 (29:41), imposing the athlete of the Alcaraz Group Mª Del Carmen Martínez (34: 2. 3).
