The Department of Social Services of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz pays tribute to the centenary neighbors.
“With this symbolic gesture, but full of love and gratitude, we want to give visibility to the role that older people occupy in our society and that many times is not justly recognized.
Our elders are an example of life and improvement and without their help many families would not get ahead as they do, ”said the mayor, Jos Francisco Garca, in the visit to the home of Mara Dolores Robles Prez, neighbor of Caravaca de la Cruz which has turned 100 today.
The mayor and the mayor of Social Services, Isabel Lpez, congratulated the caravaquea and talked with her, who has shown that she has reached the centenary with fullness of her mental faculties.
