The Popular Group has presented several requests on the situation of the Local Police, cleaning of lots, arrangement of the Fountain of the Stables, retaking the Cross of the Sources of the Marquis and the result of the Business Development Plan

The municipal groups of the PSOE and IU have rejected with their vote against the motion of the Popular Group to reduce the rate of water consumption in order to help the large families of Caravaca during the session of the regular plenary for the month of January held on the night of Monday, February 18.

The motion contained several sections of reduction: 30% in large families of general category with the limitation that gross income is less than multiplying by 6 the IPREM (38,340 euros);

50% in large families of special category;

80% for large families of special category with more than 6 children and 90% in large families of special category with more than 9 children.

Currently, the water bill includes an important part of a fixed nature and another of a variable nature.

In no case are the particular conditions of the family nucleus considered.

On the contrary, in the variable part a greater water consumption is penalized with an increase by sections in the price per cubic meter.

"It is evident that a family with a high number of children, even with a more responsible use of water, will have a greater global consumption than a family with fewer members in their family unit", explained García, who has regretted the position of the two political formations that with their sectarianism have voted against the proposal.

The Popular Group has also presented several requests about the situation that the Local Police is going through, with non-payment of payrolls, shortage of agents and other unfavorable circumstances;

solar cleaning;

arrangement of the Fountain of the Stables;

retake the Cross of the Sources of the Marquis and on the result of the Plan of Business Promotion and Employment.
