For the sixth consecutive year and on Christmas, the Queen's Tennis Tournament Queen has once again brought together the young promising tennis Murcia and its bordering provinces.

This year with a great novelty and is that the first edition of the Men's Tennis Absolute Tournament has taken place.

The two tournaments have been held in the facilities of the Real Club de Campo de Murcia, between December 15 and 26.

This year with a record of participation and is that it has had more than 220 players spread across the different categories.

As it happened already in the five previous editions, the assistants to each match of the tournament have been able to enjoy competitive, vibrant and exciting matches.

In the I Absolute Men's Tennis Tournament Queen's Desires, the young Murcian tennis player, Carlos Alcaraz, with only 15 years, has been proclaimed champion, beating in the final the Venezuelan Jordi Muñoz, top-seeded number one and favorite of the tournament.

To take the tournament, Carlos Alcaraz, had to overcome in the quarterfinals the Alicante player Juan Carlos García and in the semifinals Alejandro García Sáez.

In the VI tournament of Tennis Queen Desserts, the players Pedro Ródenas, Pablo Martínez and Shawn Luke, were proclaimed champions in the boys, juvenile and youngest boys respectively.

The players Maria Paredes, Nuria Sarganella and Charo Esquiva were the champions in the under20 and infant, alevin and benjamin categories.

The awards ceremony and trophies have been carried out by Carlos Alcaraz, judge referee of the tournament and were present D. Alfonso López (president of the Queen Desserts Group), D. Juan Carlos Ferrero (former world number one tennis), D Antonio Martínez Cáscales (Vice President of the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation), Mr. José Alcolea (President of the Tennis Federation of the Region of Murcia), Mr. Tomás González (President of the Real Sociedad Club de Campo de Murcia), Mr. José Domingo Cubillana (Vice President of the RS Club de Campo and Secretary of the Tennis Federation of the Region of Murcia), Mr. Francisco José Navarro (Tournament Director) and Mr. Antonio Martínez (Commercial Director of Queen Desserts).
