The City of Caravaca de la Cruz has delivered the Extraordinary Education Awards corresponding to the academic year 2017/2018, which have fallen on nine students with the best records of each of the modalities of study of Bachillerato and Vocational Training.
The event, held at the House of Culture 'Emilio Sáez', was chaired by the mayor, José Moreno, who congratulated the students, teachers and families and recalled that the purpose of these awards, which reach its fifth edition, is to recognize publicly constancy, effort and excellence in the study.
It also had the presence of the directors of the Secondary schools and the musical performances of the student of Violin of the Professional Music Conservatory 'Leandro Martínez Romero' Daniela López García and the soprano Ana Fernández.
The Extraordinary Education Awards for the 2017/2018 academic year were awarded to Clara Sánchez-Guerrero Martínez, of the IES 'San Juan de la Cruz' (Humanities and Social Sciences Research modality);
Jesús Gómez Martínez, from the IES 'Ginés Pérez Chirinos' (Arts mode);
Juan Pedro López Marín, of the IES 'Oróspeda' (Sciences mode);
Antonio Ángel Sánchez, from IES San Juan de la Cruz (Research Sciences mode) and Rocío Sánchez Sánchez from IES 'Ginés Pérez Chirinos' (Humanities and Social Sciences mode).
The awards for the modalities of Vocational Training went to Ángel Reinón Fernández (Higher Degree in Multiplatform Applications Development);
José Ángel Sánchez (Technical Degree in Administrative Management), Carmen Antonia Pereira López (Intermediate Degree in Auxiliary Care Technician of Nursing) and Tamara Sánchez Tudela (Higher Degree in Administration and Finance).
All the students awarded in this call within the FP modality have studied at the Ginés Pérez Chirinos institute.
