The Crisis in Housing increased by Caravaca (08/06/2010)

Since 2008 there is little free home sales and since 2004 Caravaca not built a single house of OPV.

On June 4 there was a round table with the headline: "Housing and emancipation ', promoted by the Municipal Group Socialist Caravaca, which was tabled an issue as necessary and as worrisome as the home for more youth, especially by highlighting the situation of this sector in Caravaca.

The Socialists told, to this table with the presence of speakers from the world of politics and industry professionals, all with special concern for the situation facing.

Highlight the presence of Presen López, Secretary General of Socialist Youth of the Region of Murcia, which provided a view close to the young and addressed the difficulties that these have in our region.

Alfonso Martínez Baños, Secretary of Planning and Housing in the PSRM and Alfonso Sanchez, spokesman for the Municipal Group Socialist Caravaca illuminate addressed with comparative data on the reality of housing both in Murcia and in our town.

For their part, local promoters, Salvador Ángel Gómez and Pedro Antonio Robles, ARCO New Caravaca and 02 respectively, brought us closer to the problems facing housing development today.

Isabel Soriano moderated the debate, Councillor of the Municipal Group Socialist and member of the executive JSRM.

Among the most interesting ideas that could be exchanged in this roundtable, we find some such that the housing situation is especially complicated because, inter alia, the pessimism that exists between the promoters and the construction industry in general, evident that the blocking of bank financing and lack of land managed by the City Council have aggravated the situation in this sector.

In the same way it was installed fear in society, but especially among young people, increased job insecurity for suffering in the region, a fear that becomes increasingly apparent due to widespread pessimism that transmit media with constant doomsday message.

It was also discussed among other issues, the gap between housing prices and demand for this.

Highlighting the reality of a sector that has reached an unsustainable level mainly by a speculative factor, that has generated a general price increases soil and has consequently affected the subsidized housing, urging significativamente.Hemos seen as other sectors such as industry , lost investment to derive the building, and this has resulted in the reality we live.

In general, the Popular Party government, both regional and municipal level, have opted for subsidized housing, as well as the continuing blockade of the many aids that the Government of Spain makes available to citizens as far as rent, acquisition, rehabilitation and promotion are concerned.

The Autonomous Government assumes no responsibility in this regard and you lose the money coming from the Central Government in the form of aid, and goes to other communities that if they act with responsibility and dedication to service to their citizens.

It can be concluded that among the speakers agreed on the need for consensus among all, to build confidence and generate enthusiasm to recoup the investment, since this is certainly a good time to buy a home.

On the future, the common view was that of urgent need to tackle youth unemployment and job insecurity among young people and build trust.

Which is determined to reopen the funding tap.

The necessary adjustment of needs related to housing to the real needs of the prospective purchaser.

In addition to a firm commitment to subsidized housing and why not, for the rental with or without option to purchase.
