"On the irregularities in the recovery and restoration projects Quipar River," the PSOE (21/04/2010)

Caralluma Association has recently reported contradictions in an article in a tender for construction of the Hydrographic Confederation of Segura (CHS) in the river Quipar.

In this sense, from the Socialist Municipal Group wish to state that as far as we could determine, the more we find irregularities in the conduct of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water in the Region of Murcia.

Recall that promoted by the City of Caravaca, the CHS has put out to tender the project 07/07 "recovery and ecological hidrogrológica riverbed and banks deteriorated Site of Community Importance (SCI) Quipar River in the Municipality of Caravaca de la Cruz (Murcia), developed under the European project funded Robinwood and Europe.

This action is to be performed within a stretch of Quipar that goes from the bridge of the Incarnation to limit the term of Caravaca with Cehegín.

We also noted that since the municipal group have presented several initiatives to make the draft recovery Quipar come out ahead.

The point is that the Ministry of Agriculture and Water, being now the project provided above, out to tender and awarded another project and similar post entitled: "Restoring hydrological banks and improving biodiversity in the upper reaches of Attorney ES6200043 Quípar river, TM Caravaca de la Cruz and Cehegín. "

The problem is that this new project, which has been run, and doubles matches in about one third of the Robinwood project for the soon to be awarded, for what it is like going back to doing what it's done .

However, dated February 5, we address in writing to the Ministry of Agriculture and Water to put clear inter alia that: "The work contracted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Water of the Autonomous Region de Murcia, and match both the target area as the work developed a draft water and forest restoration within the European program Robinwood pending bid by the CHS. "

In addition we asked to inform us whether such a project of the Ministry provided the appropriate permissions, but by the time we got an answer to that effect from the said Ministry.

Therefore, according to Alfonso Sanchez said, "do not understand this procedure and lack of coordination by officials of the Ministry of Agriculture, leading to duplication of projects and public money, especially now that austerity should prevail, so return to seek further clarifications and if responsibilities.
