Effective monitoring of truancy on students in compulsory school age.
Surveillance in the vicinity of schools.
Watch where it can be presumed consumption and trafficking of drugs.
Right now, we encounter the problem that the Municipal Drug Plan, which was approved late to be launched as such to this day, when he is little more than a year of operation, so that all events from the Socialist ranks understand that there are some areas where priority action is, as you come to influence the motion that we take the next House.
It is true that a greater or lesser extent there is a problem in schools in the town, which is most apparent in secondary schools, about the need to control truancy, prevention of possible sale or consumption of drugs in school settings, tackling vandalism, possible ill-treatment or bullying, detection of situations of risk or abandonment and neglect and, ultimately, civic education, something that is beyond the scope of action by both teachers, as parents themselves, so it requires the involvement of all institutions.
In fact, the surveillance in the vicinity of schools is something that has been demanding and yet has always remained, as now happens.
For this reason, as in other municipalities, the closest was in Cehegin, we call for concrete cooperation of local police through the figure of "Police Tutor", which involves the provision of an agent center will be responsible for their vigilance in a close and with a prevention and deterrence, in coordination with the educational community, and also may be involved in some educational activities starting with the control of absenteeism of pupils in school mandatory.
We therefore propose that the House adopt the following resolution:
To ensure the involvement of local police in the field of education, along with other security forces, under the terms of the municipal plan of drug prevention.
To study the feasibility of establishing a "Police Tutor" in the centers you are in special demand, specifying if the functions to be performed by it.
