The Consortium Executive Committee of the Jubilee Year 2010 was held this morning a meeting at which various issues have been adopted as the processing of request for extension of tax benefits and sponsorship agreements with Cepsa, El Corte Ingles, Food Desserts Reina y Montero .
Caravaca Mayor, accompanied by the Minister of Economy and Finance, Inmaculada García, and delegate of the Government in the Region of Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, has detailed some of the points raised this morning.
Among these issues should be highlighted new sponsorship contracts Holy Year 2010 signed with El Corte Ingles, Cepsa, Reina y Montero Food Desserts.
The consortium has appreciated the support and confidence of the companies that have become sponsors of the Holy Year, and announced that the consortium will continue to work to get further support.
El Corte Inglés Consortium donate 1 million euros and will invest in media advertising, promoting the Holy Year 2010, television, print and radio worth 6 million euros.
Also, space reserved exclusively for the promotion and sale of merchandise at all locations in Spain.
For its part, Cepsa and media donated advertising space to promote Caravaca in all service stations within a donation in kind valued at 5,292,000 euros.
In today's session, also approved to conduct the necessary steps in order to extend the deadline for which is given to the Holy Year 2010 Event consideration of exceptional public interest, taking the tax benefits applicable to a duration of 2 years, from 1 January 2009 to December 31, 2010.
It has also been given approval to the proposals of the Department of Tourism on the release of new brochures to meet the expected demand this year, with a budget of 90,000 euros, assisting the main trade fairs, with a budget of 146,000 euros, and maintenance of the four service points pilgrim, with a budget of 57,600 euros.
On the other hand, has realized the agreement signed last December with the Fundación Caja Murcia for the donation of an ambulance vehicle (life support) to cover health care needs because of the Holy Year 2010.
