The Municipal Socialist Caravaca de la Cruz take to the next plenary session of this month a new motion on the Official Language School of Caravaca de la Cruz, located behind the IES "San Juan de la Cruz."
The school should have started to function normally at the beginning of this year.
But the reality is that today the solution to various problems, seems distant and, most worryingly, there is no sign that the situation will change in the short to medium term.
The main problem, among others, is the power supply.
The supply should be provided through the construction of a transformer (as Iberdrola), but the solution proposed by the City Council, specifically from the Department of Education, is to perform a rush without the construction of the transformer, an idea promoted by the Ministry of Education, but it seems that you choose now for the first option, that of Iberdrola, ie to build the transformer.
But today there is no rush whatsoever with or without transformer and hence the move to the new home of the School of Languages is literally impossible.
From the socialist ranks, Councilman José Antonio Pérez Acacio and Maria Cruz López have expressed incomprehension at the current situation in the School of Languages, especially when the very council of education both in a full municipal to a question from the socialist councilor Maria Cruz López as an informal chat with José Antonio Pérez himself said that this whole matter was resolved.
Thus the filing of this motion where they collected three points of possible agreement: to resolve as quickly as possible to the pressing problem of power, to address other problematic situations that arise such as: access to handicapped or outdoor lighting and the movement, organized by the municipality in collaboration with the faculty of the EOI, is made as quickly as possible to avoid further delays.
Therefore, from the Municipal Socialist Group calls for this session and, particularly, the education council to resolve sooner rather than later this problem, not just the power supply, the most serious, but others who are claimed and details in the motion.
In this way, once and for all, Caravaca have the Official Language School you deserve.
