The Department of Works and Services has completed the renovation project for public lighting in the neighborhood of El Calvario.
In total we have placed 235 new points of light that incorporates a novel system for managing remote power on, off, any impacts and reductions in consumption.
The renewal of the lighting in the neighborhood of El Calvario has had a budget of 223,440 euros, funded through the Local Investment Fund, and has hit the streets Calvario, La Cerca, Picasso, access to Hermitage La Reja, Goya, Becquer , Dali, San Francisco, Barrio Nuevo Bajo, Barrio Nuevo Alto and San Jerónimo.
The new points of light, installed in various types, incorporating a technology pioneer in the municipality with integrated system for remote management of pampering.
Using GSM technology and software, can be managed remotely power on, off, control and communications on line incidents and breakdowns.
"This system of technology leads to more advanced situations, savings and control, resulting in the maintenance of facilities and the best service to citizens," said Councilman Works and Services, Juan Pedro Sánchez.
