In the village is building another center for children with 85 seats
The hamlets of Archivel and Barranda have child care centers and classrooms equipped with all necessary facilities to care for children aged 4 to 36 months.
Both centers were opened this morning by the Minister of Social Policy, Joaquín Bascuñana, and the mayor of Caravaca, Domingo Aranda, accompanied by Director General of Family and Children, Laura Muñoz, and the councilman of Social Promotion, Carmen Ruiz.
The two centers funded by the Ministry for Social Policy and the City of Caravaca with 754,700 euros, have classrooms, multipurpose room, offices and equipment required for the due attention of users.
The hours are from 09.00 to 14.00 hours, were provided for its extension on demand up to eight hours.
Each of the centers are ready to serve 41 children.
Besides these two centers, in Caravaca has executed the first phase of the center of childcare situated at Miguel Angel Blanco, near the center of Secondary Education San Juan de la Cruz.
The works for the second phase has already started and is anticipated that this new building, with capacity to serve 82 children, be completed by late summer and be operational for next year.
The Social Policy Minister recalled that the construction of these centers was a commitment by municipal and regional governments to help parents reconcile work and family life and work continue to bring services to residents of the districts.
It is about infrastructure, the mayor, which cover a need to present but also future.
