The City of Caravaca de la Cruz has planned for the next days a series of activities to celebrate Carnival.
The planned events will start this Friday, February 12 at 20.30 hours with a concert by Artefactum, Andalusian group that will bring us a different way to sounds, canticles and celebrations of the Middle Ages and the Carnival.
The concert will be held in the theater Thuillier, part of the cycle spaces Sound of the Culture Department.
On Saturday, from 10.30 to 14.00, is hosting Kids Carnival with activities, workshops and games at Temple Square organized by the youth group nueve.e, youth participation program developed by the Institute of Youth Murcia Region in collaboration with the Youth Council of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz.
In the afternoon, the Department of Festivities will continue the efforts for children in the Plaza del Arco, from 17.00 to 19.30, with games, costume contests, music, inflatables, traditional tasting fried cakes and many more surprises.
The Carnival parade, with the participation of groups and troupes in the town and the four winning coaches in the competition for the past holiday Barranda, starting at 20.00 hours on the elliptical plaza to finish in the Arco Plaza.
Moreover, the Department of Environment in addition to programming with the celebration of Carnival on 15 and 16 February a workshop building caretascon recycled materials and the Conservatory of Music Leandro Martínez Romero with the representation of musical The Hunchback of Notre Dame on Saturday 20 February.
