The Youth Council of the City of Caravaca has awarded prizes to ArteJoven Competition which recognizes the work of young people with artistic interests.
In this second edition, Miguel Ángel Muñoz won first prize in the form picture with the book "Ecology Classic" and Rubén Martínez Romero with "From the Train" second.
In the visual arts category, the jury decided to award two first prizes of minimal differences exist between the work presented by Juan de Dios Morenilla Fernandez and Jose Antonio Prats López.
The competition involved two dozen young people who have presented papers related to painting, sculpture and photography.
Jurors have highlighted the difficulty of selecting the four winning pieces for the high quality of all jobs that have been part of the event.
The Caravaca ArteJoven is an initiative of the Youth Council to support young artists promoting their work, and has explained the mayor of Youth, Antonia M ª Álvarez, during the awards ceremony held at the Youth Center with the presence of the painter caravaqueño and part of the jury Pablo Celdrán 'Taomí'.
