To address the current economic crisis, the Government of Spain has found it necessary to take immediate measures to create jobs and economic incentives in the whole territory, and it has again made available to the councils of a new Plan E, called the State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability, worth 5,000 million euros of which will correspond to Caravaca about 2.8 million.
Works contracts will be directed primarily to carry out projects that promote sustainable development, from the standpoint of employment, supporting innovation, economic and social environment.
The deadline for applications is February 4, 2010.
In the last plenary, the Municipal Socialist Group filed a Motion to include proposals involving the collective citizen and the associative structure of Caravaca, with the participation of the three political groups, which was finally rejected by the PP arguing that commitment already existed, although it does not have knowledge.
Therefore, and in order to carry out various actions necessary qualifying new Plan E, the Municipal Group Socialist Caravaca going to take the next Parliament a proposal with 14 projects for consideration and implementation as appropriate, classified in corresponding sections:
Energy saving and efficiency:
Energy saving and efficiency of municipal buildings for public use including primary schools (improved insulation, heating, water heater installation solar energy, etc).
Sustainable Urban Mobility:
Signaling Cross Roads within a radius around the town.
Bike lanes in urban areas and suburbs.
Bike rental system in town.
Savings and efficiency in the management of water resources.
Construction, adaptation or improvement of the sewerage network.
Automated irrigation system of parks and gardens drawing water from the fountains.
Storm drain Avda of the Barranco del Nevazo Andenes.
Protection and conservation of historical heritage:
Settlement of roofs, walls and rear of the medieval quarter in the east and north side of Castle according to the environment.
Piscalejo bridge restoration of the old road to Calasparra.
Restoration and conservation of natural areas:
Improvements, upgrading and updating of the Hall of Nature Resources of the Marquis and Central Tower of the Templars.
Construction or improvement of social, educational and cultural:
Reading center in the Almudema.
Fixes and improvements in primary schools in accordance with the priorities that since these are being formulated.
Expansion Project Early Advanced Care Center for later transfer to APCOM.
Removal of architectural barriers:
Installing a lift in the nursery of San Francisco.
Promotion of economic activity, entrepreneurship and innovation:
Enabling municipal or local vessels available to young entrepreneurs for a period of time (incubators).
