The local government board at its last meeting proceeded to the provisional allotment of the second phase of the Day Centre and Residence of Dependents of Caravaca de la Cruz for an amount of 1,592,000 euros.
Ferrovial Agroman, the company awarded the contract, will work under the structure built during the first phase of the project in the hamlet of El Copo, next to the occupational center Apcom.
The competition for the award of the center attended by a total of 22 companies, resulting in the Ferrovial bid by the lowest economic downturn with a budget of 16%, implementation of improvement works at no cost in the amount of 340,000 euros and the longer term warranty.
The building will have all services and agencies necessary to meet the people considered high-dependency, ending his time in special school or center Ascruz occupational Apcom.
The Center for Dependent Day, whose total budget exceeds two million euros, will be equipped with 26 rooms, rooms for workshops and rehabilitation, dining room and visit, among other agencies.
The different spaces are distributed over three floors with a total area of over 6,700 square meters.
