The Department of Women extends the computer courses and social resources to the Hispanic American Women's Association (04/11/2009)

Hispanic American Women's Association of Caravaca is involved these days in an introductory course to Computer Science and Ordenografía organized by the city of Caravaca through its Department of Women, Family and Social Development.

In addition, this group is part of another training course on social resources available to immigrant women.

The mayor Carmen Ruiz recalled that for several years, have been providing this type of courses related to information technology and communication to all women's associations formed in both the town and in villages.

"New this year is that the Hispanic-American Women's Association has joined this initiative, which we consider very interesting because in the case of immigrant women is even greater digital divide," he pointed Ruiz Mulero, who also has stressed that the ultimate objective of these courses is to provide basic and necessary training to face the job market.

Moreover, members of the Association of Hispanic women are part of another course on the resources available to immigrant women, which are addressing issues such as gender identity, civic participation and health.

This is another action in training organized by the Department of Women in collaboration with the Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia.
