Aqualia water management and the city of Caravaca de la Cruz delivered today awards International Children's Painting Competition, organized on the occasion of World Water Day under the theme "Water: yes you paint you", two children locality.
Since the first edition of the competition, has received nearly 200,000 aqualia drawings.
This contest highlights the role of the child as the protagonist to inculcate the culture of water, acting as a vehicle for transmitting values within the family environment, which translates the importance of having a committed and sustainable with this vital resource.
Álvaro Love, the College of Our Lady of Consolation, and Juan Enrique Guerrero, CP Basilio Saez, as finalists in the individual category, received a briefcase of paintings from the hands of Dominic Aranda, mayor of the municipality, who was accompanied by the Councillor for Education, Juan Pedro Sanchez, and Mario Gonzalez, Chief aqualia.
Furthermore, local has made a series of special mentions to the students Angela Caro, CP Cervantes, Elena Garcia, CP El Salvador, and Celia Marin, Santa Cruz CP, who have stood out in his drawing.
After the ceremony, aqualia thanked all participants for their children creativity and involvement in the contest, and encouraged them to continue caring for the water.
It has also made special mention of the teachers of participating schools for their dedication to this contest in their classes.
With this initiative, aqualia and the city of Caravaca de la Cruz show a year commitment to the city, in its philosophy to promote and encourage educational activities, cultural and social.
