The employment workshops conducted archaeological excavations at the site of the Cabezuela Barranda (28/05/2009)

When few weeks remaining to complete their training, students in the workshops "Promotion and encouragement of new sources of employment" have today received a visit from Councillor for Employment, Salvador Gomez, who took stock of all the work along year in the areas of archeology, installation of photovoltaic panels and maintenance of public spaces.

Salvador Gomez has used this event to announce that the City has asked the Employment and Training Service workshops about new jobs, which is granted will be launched in the fourth quarter.

Since June last year, the 24 student workers have received training to facilitate their entry into the workforce.

They have also attended additional classes in various subjects such as computer literacy and business management and counseling to promote self-employment as one of the alternatives for employment.

Employment workshops, "Promotion and encouragement of new sources of employment", organized by the City Council in collaboration with the Autonomous Community and the SEF have had a budget of 678,000 euros.
