About 80 women attend classes in the Mobile Classroom Computers installed in the square of Tuzla to Caravaca to learn basic concepts related to new technologies of communication and Internet access.
The classroom will remain in town all week and will be open from 10.00 to 22.00 hours continuously.
Councillor for Women, Family and Social Development, Carmen Ruiz, who has visited this morning the Mobile Classroom, said that these courses are designed to bring the world of information technology and communication to people who are still unaware of them.
During the courses, the mayor added, addressing Internet tools and resources useful for everyday life such as sites devoted to job search or electronic commerce.
The Department of Women, Family and Social Development, through the Local Employment Center for Women and the Equality Authority, is organizing in collaboration with the Institute for Women in the Region of Murcia free courses in both the urban and in continuously districts in order to reduce the digital divide.
