The Conservatory of Music in Caravaca de la Cruz has participated in an international meeting held in Obertshausen to mark the 20th anniversary of the Conservatory of that German city.
Along with Caravaca de la Cruz, were part of the music students encounter Laakirchen (Austria), Saint Genevieve des Bois (France) and Meiningem (Germany).
The participation of the Conservatorio de Caravaca at this meeting due to the invitation from the City of Obertshausen through caravaqueño and in that city councilman Luis Gálvez.
The meeting was attended by a group of 9 students, accompanied by two teachers and the Councillor of the City of Caravaca, Carmen Ruiz.
The Clarinet and Saxophone ensembles performed songs such as "Sevilla" by Isaac Albeniz and "Spanish Dance" by E.
Granados.
"The meeting has been very rewarding for many years there are some very strong ties with Obertshausen, as many caravaqueños migrated to this city in the sixties," remarked Councilwoman Carmen Ruiz Mulero.
