The City Council develops courses and workshops to combat unemployment (12/05/2009)

Councillor for Women, Family and Social Development, Carmen Ruiz Mulero, closed today during Dining Monitor organized by the Local Employment Center for Women and conducted by the Cooperative Union of Ucomur Murcia.

This course is part of the action taken by the City of Caravaca in training to promote job creation in the municipality.

In total 15 girls have been during the last three months have received theoretical and practical lessons on planning and organizing daily dining room, hygiene and nutrition.

The course consisted of a second part related to the abilities and skills necessary to work with children approaching the figure of the monitor, health education and leisure.

The course has been funded by the Regional Employment Service and Training (SEF).

In Caravaca are being developed courses and employment workshops to facilitate labor market participation of persons unemployed through retraining and vocational training.

Some of the titles offered in recent months have been the Assistant Hospedería and Rural Tourism, Shoe Repair, Maintenance of Public Spaces, Archaeology and Facilities Assistant Photovoltaic panels, as the mayor pointed Ruiz Mulero during delivery diplomas.

For his part, responsible for Ucomur in Caravaca, Patricia Barnes, has announced that later this month of May will offer a new schedule of courses, and interested persons may attend Ucomur headquarters, located in Avenida Juan Carlos I number 41.
