The general director of the Institute of Tourism, Manuel Fernández-Delgado, met this morning with the mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, Jose Moreno, with the aim of establishing the foundations for implementing the program as soon as possible tax exemptions designed to benefit companies to support the celebration of the Holy Year 2017.
During the meeting, progress was made in the implementation of the 'Master Plan for the Way of the Cross of Caravaca de la Cruz' and the program of tax breaks to promote public-private partnerships, through a mechanism that is a benefit for both the region and to Caravaca de la Cruz to those companies that realize aimed at promoting and spreading the Jubilee Year 2017 investments.
Director of Tourism, which added that this meeting is a continuation of those during the last edition of FITUR, said Santo "Year is a totally unifying project that will energize not only the tourism sector but the entire economic and social fabric Caravaca de la Cruz and the entire region. "
In this regard, Manuel Fernández-Delgado said that "it is essential to strengthen the joint work between government and industry and set concrete targets to make the event a success."
Also, the head of the Institute of Tourism met with members of the Confraternity of the Blessed and Vera Cruz and other private entities in order to attract resources and study the possibility of applying the exemptions included in the State Budget.
