The Department of Tourism of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz offer for next Sunday, August 16, the guided tour "Caravaca de la Cruz. Stroll through the Holy City," which runs through the historic center and the main monumental areas of the city .
The initiative is part of "Your free guided tour" which promotes the Institute of Tourism and the Tourist Offices Network of the Region of Murcia.
These routes intend to meet unique landscapes, walking historic centers, castles and gain a unique experience in warehouses, museums, archaeological sites.
The sixth edition of "Your free guided tour" will be held from July 1 to September 30.

Caravaca de la Cruz tour has as a starting point the Royal Basilica of the Blessed and Vera Cruz, to continue through the streets of the medieval quarter to the Plaza del Arco, past the Parish Church of El Salvador, Main Street and the exhibition hall of the old Jesuit.
Later it delves into other streets in the city center, to reach the Plaza del Hoyo and Temple Square, where the tour will end.
The event will take place at 11.15 am, with about an hour and a half.
To participate you must reserve a place to study at the Municipal Tourist Office (968 70 24 24).
Participants receive a 10% bonus discount can be redeemed at local hospitality of the city.
Castle dramatized guided tours and visits of the Teresian Year
Until August 30 celebrated the eleventh edition of nocturnal dramatized visits to the Castle and Royal Basilica of Vera Cruz.
The activity takes place from Tuesday to Sunday at 22.00.
Tickets are purchased directly at the gateway to the Castle or by reservation at the Museum of the Fiesta.
The ticket prices are: 5 euros regular pass, 4 euros for pensioners and young people (aged between 6 and 18 years) and children under 6 years, free admission.

Moreover, within the commemoration of the V Centenary of the Birth of Saint Teresa of Jesus, still guided the monumental church of St. Joseph and visits the Carmelite convent.
These tours are offered Tuesday through Sunday at 12.30.
Saturdays take place at 12.30 and 16.30, as the day more demand from tourists.
The price is two euros for adults and one euro for pensioners and children (under six years free).
