Guitarist Jose Tomas offers a flamenco recital at the Music Museum in Barranda (10/08/2015)

He will be joined on stage of singer Dani Bermudez, percussionist Javier Rabadán and dancers Daniel Navarro and Richard Gutierrez

The action is part of the concert series "A Barranda Moon" every Saturday held August

The winner of the 'Bordón Minero' at the last edition of the International Festival of Cante de las Minas de La Union, Jose Tomas Jimenez, will be this Saturday, August 15, at the Museum of Ethnic Music.

In the series "A Barranda Moon", organized by the Department of Culture of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, Jose Tomas will offer flamenco music concert entitled "Well Vine".

The concert will begin at 22.30, and as the other actions that are part of this program, will be freely available to fill seats.

Jose Tomas Jimenez course of Membrilla (Ciudad Real) and began his career as a guitarist with eight years by a man fond of his people.

Later he began studying Musical Teaching at the University of Cordoba.

At the same time developing college, Jimenez received at the conservatory classes flamenco guitar accompaniment of singing and dancing.

The guitarist worthy of the highest honor of singing in the Cathedral of La Union in 2014 in its category, has shared the stage with some flamenco figures as Manuel Cuevas and Julian Estrada and has accompanied artists such as Rafael de Utrera and Antonio Jose Mejia.

Currently, Joseph Thomas is a professor in the School of Music of Montoro (Cordoba).

Notes as his references to figures like Paco de Lucia, Diego del Morao, Miguel Angel Cortes and Antonio Rey.

It stresses its participation in the Festival of Music in Karlskrona (Sweden) and at the First International Congress of Flamenco Guitar, with the show "Three guitars to Paco" with Niño Seve and Diego del Morao.

Likewise, also the winner of the first prize in the X Lead Guitar Competition for Young Flamencos de Cordoba in 2012. It has numerous performances as a concert guitarist.

The guitarist will be accompanied by Daniel Navarro, owner of the two most important awards for dance (Award "Desplante" Festival de las Minas de La Union and the National Prize in the Competition of Córdoba).

Dancer and choreographer, has come the big stages around the world with his art.

It was official dancer in international tours with Vicente Amigo and Chano Dominguez.

Also it acts on stage at the Music Museum percussionist Javier Rabadan, with extensive experience in flamenco in international settings;

Richard Gutierrez;

Dance prize in the III Competition for Young Andalusian Flamenco;

Cordoba and singer Dani Bermudez, winner of Young Flamenco Contest XI of the Province of Córdoba.
