The Department of Environment of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz has traveled all schools of Primary and Secondary town and the villages of the municipality with awareness activities to promote respect for the environment and recycling of household waste.
This action, which last October began, is part of the campaign "Caravaca separated, Caravaca recycled" which includes activities aimed at different segments of the population and promotes ECOEMBES and City Hall.
"The school campaign has been they closed with activities held in special education center Ascruz where students have played with materials that are deposited in the yellow and blue container and created representative murals of both containers. In addition, participated in a game board recycling through a competition in which they have tested their knowledge in the selective separation of waste ", as detailed by the mayor of Environment, Maria Antonia Alvarez Jorquera.
Another year, the activity held in Ascruz was framed in programming "Health Week", which annually organizes this caravaqueño school.
