Special awards "Mary Chillida Shack" are held to the best students of districts
The Department of Education of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz reports that it has announced the second edition of the awards study grants Robles Chillida Foundation.
Aid to students who have attended schools in the municipality of Caravaca de la Cruz High School, Vocational Intermediate and Advanced Level Training, selecting the best academic records will be awarded.
In addition, awards were announced "Mary Chillida Shack" Elementary teaching, aimed at those students, who have completed study in any of the districts schools.
The study aids ranging between 600 and 1,000 euros per student.
"Last year, the foundation awarded research awards to students of the University of Murcia for a total amount of 30,000 euros and 9,000 euros in scholarships to students in schools in Caravaca," recalled the Councillor for Education, Carmen Ruiz Mulero.
The Robles Chillida Foundation, based in Caravaca de la Cruz, is a non-profit organization that aims for the help of studies and research in the Region of Murcia organization.
It was named after Manuel Robles Chillida Elijah pharmacist who donated his estate to initiatives that promote, among other things, health and welfare of citizens.
The foundation also reward the effort of these students in the districts of Caravaca de la Cruz, following the example of the mother of the founder, a teacher in the district of the Scrolls, in whose memory the prizes that bear his name are given: "María Awards Chillida Shack ".
