Caravaca Mayor Domingo Aranda, accompanied by the Councillor for Education, Carmen Ruiz, today received at Jesús Ortega Martínez caravaqueño young, awarded by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport with the National Education Award in Art Education Professional Music in Excellent Academic Performance mode.
Jesus Ortega, 18 years old, has studied guitar for thirteen years at the Conservatory of Caravaca de la Cruz and is currently continuing his studies in Alicante.
The Ministry of Culture has been awarded this April, according to a resolution published in the Official State Gazette, one of the National Awards for Education in non-university education in the category of Art Education Professional Music with an Excellent Academic Achievement, Recognition that has fallen in six young people across Spain.
The mayor stressed when receiving this award lies in Jesus Ortega represents the effort, enthusiasm and desire to continue learning and also provides an impetus and a recognition of the excellent educational work develops from the Municipal School Music and the Conservatory of Caravaca.
For his part, Jesus Ortega wanted to dedicate this award to his family and the Conservatory of Caravaca, "which I consider one of the teaching centers pointers Murcia and where I keep great memories and affection to all his teachers."
Young caravaqueño also had words of thanks to the mayor and to the people of Caravaca, for the welcome and care provided to all activities held outside the Conservatory downtown.
