More than 1,300 athletes from 12 Spanish provinces have confirmed their participation in the next edition of Al-Mudayna Alpine Marathon.
The eighth edition of this popular event will be held on October 5, starting and finishing the hamlet of La Almudema.
Councillor for Sports, Emilio Perez, thanked the confidence that all registrants have been deposited in the marathon and pointed out that, after completing the first 1000 seats, the organization decided to offer 300 squares.
"Yet we continue to receive requests to participate, but we must act prudently, as our main premise is to provide quality care and maintain above all the safety of the participants," according to the mayor, who presented the test accompanied by Marathon coordinator, Julio Robles, and the head of Al-Mukids (cross minor categories), José Antonio Molina.
Emilio Perez said that "Al-Mudayna marathon is an example of how the union of sport and natural landscape resources and become attractive tourist to Caravaca, able to attract many people to the municipality".
The trial, in its forms Foot Walking, Walks and Mountain Bike Race will pass through places like the Mountain Goats and the environment River Valley Quípar.
Participants will travel a path with 9 levels of mountain with a positive slope of 1900 meters.
In addition to the evidence of a competitive nature, it includes the Half Marathon Run to Pie, which is a popular competition, which has room for sports fans in nature.
