The Department of Sports City of Caravaca de la Cruz and Al-Mudayna Sports Association have agreed to increase the number of places available for the marathon next October 5.
Councilman Emilio Perez, has reported that in the absence of little less than a month for holding the test, reached the 1,000 entries and has chosen to offer 200 squares "without being eroded quality and security event ".
The Al-Mudayna Alpine Marathon, in its forms Foot Walking, Walks and Mountain Bike Race, runs through natural areas such as the Sierra de la Cabras and environment Quípar River.
Participants run through a path with 9 levels of mountain with a positive slope of about 1,900 meters.
Furthermore, last year introduced the cross for minor categories "Al-Mukids", for which other 250 seats are offered.
The Al-Mudayna marathon, starting and finishing in the village of La Almudema, is consolidated in the national calendar racing mountain and it is a tourist attraction in the town.
Every year comes together hundreds of athletes of all Spanish geography, including many professional runners and cyclists.
