The Municipal Office of Consumer Caravaca his attentions increases by 20% compared to last year (02/08/2013)

The Municipal Office of Consumer Information (OMIC) the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, Murcia managed by the Association of Consumers and Users, CONSUMUR, made during the first half of the year a total of 1,370 care (inquiries and complaints from citizens) , 20% more than the same period last year, which conducted 1,112 inquiries and complaints.

The sectors with the highest number of complaints received are related to telephone services, gas, electricity and financial services, due to the collection of bank fees.

Of the cases treated in the OMIC, 67% is archived for being solved, a 13% has been referred to the Consumer Arbitration Board of the Region of Murcia and 7% is pending mediation.

Also noteworthy is the significant presence of the Municipal Office of Consumer Information Caravaca de la Cruz in Consumer Arbitration Board of the Region of Murcia.
