The Caravaca Library April 23 commemorates the "Day Book" (18/04/2013)

The Department of Culture of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, through the Municipal Library, celebrates next Tuesday, April 23, the World Book Day with various activities aimed at children as an adult.

At 18.00 in the hall of the House of Culture "Emilio Sáez" Workshop Paper Association will hold a public reading of texts of the novel "The Little Prince" by A.

Saint Exupery.

Then, at 1900 hours, members of the book club of the Library will hold a reading of texts to music belonging to the book "How to Water for Chocolate".

This activity will also feature the participation of members of the theater workshop, as Luis Martinez, accompanied on guitar by Cristian Castillo, the local group "Essence Bardorí".

Finally, the film "How Water for Chocolate", inspired by the work of Laura Esquivel.

In addition, during the morning of April 23, from 11.00 to 13.00, the Department of Culture install a mobile point Library Temple Square to give books to pedestrians.

The councilman of Culture, Maria Cruz Perez, recalled that the Municipal Library organizes throughout the year various initiatives to promote reading and personal and cultural enrichment, and the workshops storytellers and book clubs, both activities with a great success of participation.
