Apcom is an association created in 1984 with the aim of improving the quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities and their families.

As for the workplace, in addition to the Special Employment Centre, the entity has a counseling service to boost recruitment of its users.

Apcom is one of the 27 associations that make up the Federation of Organizations for Persons with Intellectual Disability and / or cerebral palsy (FEAPS-Murcia).

The City of Caravaca de la Cruz has with Apcom a collaboration agreement for the maintenance of gardens and natural areas of the town and villages.

Under this agreement, a team of 17 people with intellectual disabilities working stably in the improvement and maintenance of green areas of the municipality.
