The City of Caravaca de la Cruz and the concessionaire from the municipal waters, Aqualia, have executed a renovation project of the drinking water network in the districts of Navares and Benablon.
The works carried out have ended supply problems that had been recorded in the homes in the area, getting triple the flow and pressure of water.
The network renovation project has received an investment of 82,500 euros and mainly consisted of replacing all obsolete materials with higher-quality and installation of new cutting elements and maneuver to improve water infrastructure in the area reference.
The work has benefited a total of 511 apartments spread over the districts of Benablon and Navares and the spread of El Prado, elm, Cannon House, Chuecos and La Loma, among others.
Councilman Urban Development, Salvador Gomez, has indicated that the renovation project to improve water supply networks is practically completed and neighboring districts that have already experienced a significant improvement in the flow and supply conditions in the area.
