Furthermore, we report, as stated by Alfonso Sanchez, mismanagement and lack of coordination (not attributable to the crisis) also seems clear, then the City Council commissioned a few years ago from a private company to maintain the Elliptical Square and all areas with planters or pots, such as those in the Plaza del Arco, and apparently entrusted with the maintenance of the Plaza San Juan de la Cruz, while all this was done in a somewhat irregular, with no contract or agreement signed to be followed.
So much so that as we have consulted, no mention if the Plaza San Juan has to keep the company, or the City.
The result is that apparently no one has held for the last years of the Plaza.
As can be seen in a very central and crowded space, hedges and shrubs are just because everything has gone dry, and the flowers are conspicuous by their absence.
The same we can say (as also been denouncing) the use of potable water, for irrigation water is continued with the network in almost all parks and gardens, despite the motion which was approved four years ago to implement a system irrigation water from the sources and achieve significant water savings.
In this sense, not even used, meanwhile, pump equipment in the parks by passing the river of sources, although we have recently re-emphasized this with another motion (and nearby Orchard Road, Glorieta and Plaza San Juan, City Garden, etc).
