UPyD ask the full City Council of Caravaca, the continuity of the various programs of School Workshop and Workshop on Employment for this exercise (11/06/2012)

The removal of these programs would leave hundreds of unemployed without a job placement option key in the times we live, where our town "nip in the bud" other projects already announced.

The Municipal UPyD Caravaca, take the next plenary session of June a motion which calls for the mediation of the Municipal Corporation with the Director General of the Regional Employment Service and Training (SEF) and the Minister for Education, Training and Employment Autonomous Community of Murcia, which prevents the removal of the call in 2012 from the Workshop Schools programs and employment workshops.

Caravaca UPyD complaint that the Employment and Training Service (SEF) has not made the calls for this year of these programs, "which means in practice its end" with the accompanying problems of social harm to a population in need rather than ever of these training courses and employment.

We recall that the Workshop Schools and Employment Workshops are programs developed in the Murcia region for over 20 years, 80% co-financed by the European Union, whose goal is the qualification of the unemployed so they can be inserted in the labor market.

"They combine theoretical and practical work in carrying out works or public utility or social interest.".

In this sense, UPyD highlights the important role played by these programs "in a region with dropout rates very high."

In addition the Training Workshops are aimed at young people between 16 and 24 years, usually from school failure and no work experience, that through these programs "have the opportunity to prepare to get his degree from ESO, while learning a profession working. "

On the other hand employment workshops are aimed at long-term unemployed and low-skilled, between 25 and 54, who "found here is a possibility of eventually work."

In the Region are currently developing 15 projects in Workshop Schools and employment, training more than 400 people unemployed.

The Municipal UPyD Caravaca presented this proposal in our City because the disappearance of these programs would undermine the residents of our municipality, in economic times like this, in which training and learning should be critical. "
