The campaign "Grow in Security" teach school children to prevent risks in your environment (10/02/2012)

Students from 5 ° of primary schools in the municipality will participate in the campaign "Grow in Security" led by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health of the Region of Murcia with the assistance of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz.

This educational campaign is to inform students of the risks their usual environments: school, homes and streets.

"Through it we want you to know that in their daily activities are subject to possible accidents due to falls, burns, workload, contact with toxic chemicals, electrical hazards, shock, etc.," reported by the Councillor for Education, Carmen Ruiz, who presented the campaign accompanied by the director of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, Thomas Perez, and campaign manager, Juan Carlos Simon.

The campaign will consist of briefings on risks with a duration of 45 minutes and they will be taught by staff of the company SICO Safety Engineering and technical personnel and supervised by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health.

Also, be distributed among students and recreational materials such as comic CDS and equity, in which the student may observe situations fun and recognizing hazards around you in your daily work.

Another initiative is planned to hold competitions in drawing and painting at local and regional levels.

This year, the campaign has a website, www.creceenseguidad.com, where children can learn, both the contents and news about the campaign.
